Paul has written three novels to date. SINGULARITY‘S RING, his debut novel, won the Locus Award for best new novel and the Compton Crook Award for best first novel. It has been translated into Japanese, German, and (soon) Czech.

His second novel is THE WALLS OF THE UNIVERSE, published in February, 2008. It was a pick of the Science Fiction Book Club and has been translated into French, German, and (soon) Portuguese. The novel was optioned by Aron Warner of Strange Weather.

The sequel to his second novel is called THE BROKEN UNIVERSE and is scheduled for release in June of 2012.
